“Vaping is not a product. It is a movement. It is a community, it is a political movement in support of a community and it’s changing the country in very good ways.” -G. Norquist
The American Conservative, Grover Norquist, founder of Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) is certain that the results of the upcoming US presidential election will be influenced by the vaping community.

He says that “Lifestyle issues win because of the power of the political support behind them”.

Daniel Hall, a blogger of Guidetovaping.com, said that the population of vapers is the USA is superior to that of a state like Michigan. He agrees with Norquist that individuals have a role to play and “politicians against the vaping movement to be worried about their future careers”.

During a meeting of the Smoke-Free Alternatives Trade Association (SFATA) held in Washington, DC, on February 3 and 4, the Conservative told he trusted in the vaping community to fight against political opponents.

It is true that with regard to taxes, a pivotal subject to the ATR, vapers are fighting hard against the authorities who impose more and more taxes.

The US vaping advocates like NotBlowingSmoke are likely to mobilize on the political field to increase pressure on the government, as evidenced for example by the vapersvotingguide.com site that provides vapers a voting guide to actively participate in all elections and promotes pro-vaping politicians.
