NCSCT unable to promote pro-vaping movie on Facebook because it is considered a tobacco product

National Centre for Smoking Cessation and Training is currently not able to promote their movie, "The Switch", on Facebook because their advertising policy does not allow tobacco products.

History is repeating itself

It is not the first time Facebook thwarts pro-vaping movies. Aaron Biebert’s movie “Billion Lives” and Jan Kounen’s movie “Vape Wave” underwent the same ban on this social media.

Facebook, like the US administration, considers e-cigarettes as tobacco products and bans their promotion. The only recourse is to appeal against the decision. Lorien Jollye (New Nicotine Alliance UK), the main protagonist of the movie, is appalled by the absence of discernment of this social media for tobacco harm-reduction alternatives.
