New version of the Cuboid 200 is a 200 W electronic box powered by three 18650 batteries. Its grip is pleasant and the Fire switch, that sometimes got stuck, falls just under your index.
Only 22 mm in diameter
Rather compact for a triple battery box, the Cuboid 200 V2 is only 99.9 mm high, 63 mm wide and 22 mm in diameter. Logically, the atomizers larger than 22 mm, whose popularity is increasing, will outreach the edge of the box. It is regrettable that Joyetech didn’t make the 510 side a bit larger, like the Chinese manufacturer did with eVic Primo.
Above 400 g, the price to pay for autonomy
The weight is consequent, 243 g naked but 378 g with the batteries and above 400 g when operated (with the atomizer and the batteries). At this stage, it becomes to be heavy. Fortunately, the three 18650 batteries (not included) ca, easily be inserted from the bottom with a sliding cap.

The OLED screen, 0.96 inches, is located on the upper side of the box, next to the 510 pin. It is not an ideal location but it is readable and displays all necessary information. It alsso shows the charge level in each of the three batteries since they are managed separately by the chipset.
One of the best chipset on the market
As usual, Joyetech’s chipset works wonders. It imbeds the 6.04 firmware upgradeable via USB. It proposes all the classical vaping modes, VW, TC (Ni, Ti and SS316), TCR and the preheat function that boosts power in the first few seconds after lighting. This function allows tuning the feeling as close as possible to what you like, as a function of the type of clearomizer.
In summary
The “+”:
- Good finishing quality
- Very performant Chipset
- Awesome battery autonomy
- Readable screen
- Elegant design
- Silicon sleeve included
The “-“:
- Heavy (service weight above 400 g)
- Only 22 mm in diameter
- Fire switch gets stuck, sometimes
Conclusions
Rating of 4/5. Beautiful, provided with an excellent chipset, the new Cuboid 200 is bulky but its usability has been carefully studied. It is regrettable that it is so heavy and not a bit larger than 22 mm to fit with the largest atomizers designed for high power. It is then more designed for those who want a good battery autonomy than for those who want to do bug clouds.
