For those who are aware, which hopefully all advocates are at least CASAA members themselves, it is absolutely no cost to join this organization. Yet vapers who do not advocate should still at least sign up. It is free, remember that.
However, I must warn you that the registration process may seem rather strenuous as it literally requires the physical action of clicking a mouse.
So, all jokes aside, this is a period of time where your tiny effort of not paying any fee and clicking a mouse to join up to become a CASAA member, would make a massive difference.
This has been something that most vapers should have already done. Or something all vape shops should require. At least in Denver, I know a few shops that actively promote the CASAA membership as a small type of business card with the simple directions of how to join.
Joining this national advocacy association has been something vape advocates have been urging the vape community to immediately become involved with for the past several years.
CASAA Membership Expansion
Joining this national advocacy association has been something vape advocates have been urging the vape community to immediately become involved with.
Furthermore, this “Call-to-Action” is not necessarily anything new, as the Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association is a National Vape Advocacy Organization entirely free to join that could allow the vaping community to earn some much needed “clout” around the hollows of D.C.
It has been said that there are nearly 10 million American Vapers purchasing products from the estimated 10 billion dollar global industry. Then again, other reports claim there are approximately 4 million vapers in the United States. American Vapers consume 50% of the world’s vapor products
Since nearly every vaper is a former smoker, while this may seem like an assumption, however, it is not fictitious to suggest all these vapers would prefer to continue their daily vaping ritual as usual.
Well, in that case, it is crucial to take notice of the fact that there has been a war on vapor going on for several years. That war is coming to a turning point and the odds are heavily stacked against vapers.
It’s not difficult to make an effortlessly quick assumption about just how unappealing the challenges may seem when fighting this multi-front war. After all, the opposition to vaping has a history of being the first to attack, often in the form of frequent misinformation campaigns accompanied by running and telling fibs their Big Brother. Hiding behind their most influential by and relentless ally who seems to always come to aid their defense — the U.S. Government.
What’s Holding you Back?
In response to the subtitled inquiry, many would answer with factual statistics and how there is no reason to feel reluctant. Are you apprehensive to get involved? There truly is no cause for concern. Do not hesitate, for you will gain so much simply from joining the this is a chance to be a part of something special as nothing would be required of you from simply becoming a member of CASAA, that is, unless you wanted to become an active advocate.
Perhaps one of the most significant factors to remind ourselves is that by joining CASAA, you decide your own level of involvement. The only commitment literally consists of being a name on a list. Are you still hesitant to join? If so, why? This is an organization that represents consumers of vapor products — if you vape, that’s you!
Vapers Need to be More Proactive
Regardless, as mentioned, if you wanted to become more active in advocacy, CASAA allows you this option for no cost. There is no reason to not sign-up to become a member. Plain and simple, Vapers Need to be More Proactive.
Vapers Joining CASAA is not only a critical step if you’d like to get involved with advocating, yet it is also a crucial first step in allowing the vape movement to move forward.
The CASAA website states:
“The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association (CASAA) is a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization with an all-volunteer board and a grassroots membership of more than two hundred thousand individuals from all walks of life, and we are growing daily. We are a consumer organization, not a trade association. We are dedicated to ensuring the availability of reduced harm alternatives to smoking and to providing smokers and non-smokers alike with honest information about those alternatives so that they can make informed choices.”
