The eLiquid brand vapers will typically see in every vape shop, headshop and even some convenience stores, Naked 100 has done something entirely unprecedented in reference to the vape industry’s participation in supporting vape advocacy.
For the most part, we often hear of donations to fundraising events, but we rarely learn of an eLiquid Manufacturer spending $50K on a single donation to a consumer advocacy group. A donation that was literally out of nowhere, no warning, no preparation, just a nice funded surprise.
Owner of the eLiquid brand Naked 100, Huy Nguyen is quickly becoming the industry leader in regards to large manufacturers stepping up by donating thousands in financial contributions to those who fight to preserve the vapor industry. In some cases, it’s been donations consisting of hundreds of thousands.
Additional Contributions by Huy Nguyen
At the very end of 2017, Naked 100 also assisted with the success of facilitating the funding for the most successful fundraiser in vape history, The VapesGiving Manufacturer Challenge, offering a dollar for dollar match of the total donations raised. When all was said and done, VapesGiving raised nearly $400K as Naked 100 eliquid’s sponsorship proved to be more than generous — it was also, very much instrumental.
As a reminder, the CASAA website states, “The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association (CASAA) is a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization with an all-volunteer board and a grassroots membership of more than two hundred thousand individuals from all walks of life, and we are growing daily. We are a consumer organization, not a trade association.”
CASAA is a national level advocacy group that could use many more of these gracious donations as they represent approximately 220,000 members and counting. Or should we more accurately define the members as vape product consumers and advocacy supporters.
CASAA reminds us all of what they do, stating, “We are dedicated to ensuring the availability of reduced harm alternatives to smoking and to providing smokers and non-smokers alike with honest information about those alternatives so that they can make informed choices.”
Just to reiterate, Naked 100 eliquid owner Huy Nguyen has donated Fifty Thousand Dollars to the Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives Association (CASAA). Yes, that is $50,000 or 50K, 50 Large or 50 Grand. Regardless, however you choose to say it, this is certainly a major story that should be gaining some attention.
This is something extraordinary and momentous for the vape industry and all vape product consumers and advocates should take a moment to share their thankfulness for such a generous contribution to preserve the right to vape.
