Finding a US airport that allows indoor use of vaporizers is not that common anymore, and different airports have implemented different regulations in relation to use and travelling with vaping products.
While e-cig regulations are still in the works, the only nationwide regulation that has been implemented to date, is that the devices cannot be used during a flight. Additionally, due to the infamous incidents of battery explosions, batteries must not be packed in checked baggage and one is expected to exercise caution when packing them in hand luggage.
