The AEO Advanced Certification is considered a sort of global trade “VIP Pass” which reduces the time it takes to clear customs by about 30%, hence substantially facilitating global trade.
Taking FEELM as an example, a high-quality atomization technology brand with an annual productive capacity of over 1.2 billion pieces, it has products exported to Europe, America, East Asia, Africa, Oceania and many other countries and regions. With the AEO Advanced Certification, it will be possible to save time in customs clearance procedures, giving it a competitive edge globally.
The AEO Certificate
The AEO Advanced Certification requires a well-established management system, healthy financial index, and effective cargo security management, etc., and is not easy to obtain.
Applying for the AEO Advanced Certification is far from easy. In China there are currently 3,239 enterprises in possession of the certification, accounting for only 0.22% of the registered companies in the country.
To pass the application process which has a passing rate similar to a mini-IPO, back in 2018 SMOORE had set up a program team in which 9 departments had participated, over 30 training had been conducted and a 7,524-page file submitted.
Till now, China has signed mutual AEO agreements with 42 countries and regions, including Singapore, the Republic of Korea, the European Union, Switzerland and New Zealand, which tops all countries.
