Not all vape models are equal when using CBD
CBD is in-vogue at the moment. A large number of stores and online retailers now offer CBD in primarily liquid form. The claimed appeal of this substance is based on seeking relaxation or well-being. However, as French legislation is very strict, and therapeutic claims are prohibited, retailers of this type of product need to be very careful with what they say about this topic. Indeed, manufacturers and retailers cannot claim any health effects from using this type of product.
Notwithstanding this regulatory constraint, CBD is being used more and more in France. So, if CBD appeals to you, and you would like to vape it, which e-cigarette would be best?
According to scientific research, the CBD molecule can withstand temperature rises quite well. No particular problem arises when it is heated with an e-cigarette resistance coil, for example. By way of reminder, a vaping device raises the liquid heating temperature to between 189 and 292°C, according to a 2018 study.
Choose a low-power device
If you want to consume CBD, there is no need to seek out the device that will produce the most vapour. Indeed, cloud chasing will be of little benefit for CBD consumption given that CBD has a very strong hit, somewhat similar to that of nicotine.
Small formats, pods, or Nord Pod type vaping devices will most likely be the most suitable. As a general rule, it is preferable to opt for a resistance coil which is greater than 1 Ohm, so that the e-liquid is not vaporised too quickly. It is important to remember that, although CBD has no psychotropic effects, it nonetheless contains an active substance which has effects on the body. These effects are multiple and we will not go into detail here, but bear in mind that CBD should always be vaped in moderation.
For example, Zenith clearomizers from the Innokin brand, or the Nautilus range would be ideal for CBD consumption. In particular, CBD liquids are quite expensive, and it is pointless wasting them unnecessarily with clearomizers that guzzle up liquid too quickly.
We also advise not combining nicotine with CBD. As the two substances have relatively opposite effects, one is a stimulant while the other is relaxing, it is preferable to separate these two types of consumption.
