Q1. Hello, could you first tell us about the technology seminar by Geekvape?
A: Of course, on November 10, 2022, we held an online seminar on electronic cigarette technology with the theme “Leap further.” There are industry experts addressed the seminar’s four topics, that included user concerns, atomizer structural design, battery cells and chips, and future development. This is the link to it: https://youtu.be/OFD777x5qbQ
Q2.Geekvape focuses particularly on leakage problems concerning clearomizers. What are the main causes?
A: Nowadays, leaking problem has been greatly improved on the products among the leading brands. Applying certain technologies has managed to avoid the issue of leakage. For instance, at Geekvape, we use LSR high precision liquid silica rubber which has good sealing performance and high temperature resistance, and of course, top airflow design.
Q3.There was little difference conceptually between the top and bottom airflow designs. Why are you conducting this experiment?
A: Actually, Geekvape has been working on the top structure design for quite some time. This time around, we want to determine the difference using simulation experiments, and we were surprised to find that the airflow designs of both the top and bottom structures are smooth, and their air resistance appears to be the same. However, the top airflow design, has a higher thermal efficiency than the bottom airflow design, which enable it to completely vaporize the liquid, producing more cloud and an improved flavour. In addition to this, this structure’s architecture contributes significantly to preventing leakage.
Q4. Could you tell us about the lab experiment on the electric chip and core? Why do you carry out these tests? What does it accomplish to do this?
A: To start, I’d want to explain that vaping is a comprehensive experience. The atomizer and coil are crucial since they affect how flavorful the product will be. In the meanwhile, the chip and battery are crucial for maintaining a consistent flavour. So that’s why we wanna do a test to examine how the battery and chip impact your vaping experience.
Q5. How do you demonstrate that batteries and chipsets can enhance the vaping experience?
A: We asked our test center to find out how better chips and battery cells impact the user experience. The tester clarified that the flavour and atomization of the nicotine oil were both directly influenced by the device’s output voltage. The output voltage’s level and stability are therefore very important. It is demonstrated that the output stability of the Geekvape device is demonstrably superior to that of the other device by comparing the output voltage of other devices with the same atomization core resistance value, and that the overall device is more trustworthy. When using the same battery cell, Geekvape’s devices are also incredibly competitive in terms of chip output control.
Q6.What are your thoughts on the future of electronic cigarette technology?
A: As we all know, every day there are numerous new devices, such as ceramic coil, low-temperature heating, and super chip. It is encouraging to see that many businesses continues to innovate and make breakthroughs in its own fields.
However, I would like to highlight the fact that, referring back to the comprehensive experience. A success in certain technologies is insufficient, we need to intergrade each technical point so that people can actually perceive and optimise it.
Q7.Finally, at the seminar, you mentioned the “VPU.” Could you elaborate on this interesting concept?
A: Similar to what I have already emphasised, the vaping device is like a system. Just like a smartphone, it has its own core, which I shall refer to as the VPU, or vaping processing unit. The VPU regulates the device’s output. And it is able to manage the battery, control the temperature, and determine the optimal method of output, this is the VPU for the future market.
