The Wenax vape

The Wenax Q Mini is understated. Apart from a few graphics on the battery body which blend into the colours of the pod, the device is rather discreet. Only an “X” for Wenax lights up. An LED under this letter indicates the remaining battery level and pulses in different colours. This simple and effective feature instantly shows you the battery life of your Wenax Q Mini.

On one side of the device, a small slide is used to adjust the airflow. This impacts the feeling when you draw on the vape and slightly modulates the temperature of the vapour. With the two cartridges supplied and by adjusting this setting, you can achieve a tight MTL draw right through to a very restricted DL draw. The slide does not move on its own when the pod is in a pocket or bag.

On the opposite side, a USB-C port is provided to connect the cable to charge the Wenax Q Mini. With its 1000 mAh battery, the pod is about average for devices in this format. It charges fast and you can vape during charging.

The cartridge sits on top of the battery body. The hold is excellent – there’s no play at all. The Wenax Q Mini is compatible with the Q cartridges and provides a more varied choice of ohm value.

Filling is standard for this type of kit. You take off the drip tip by pressing on the top and side to access the fill port. E-liquid bottles with narrow tips should be used to fill the 2ml capacity. Two cartridges are supplied in the box. One is 0.6 ohm, designed for a very restricted DL draw, and the other is 1.2 ohm for a much tighter MTL draw.

Like for every Wenax episode, the flavours are accurate and true. Both cartridges consistently deliver impeccable flavours. The Wenax Q Mini is a reliable pod with no leaks or seeping.

Self-taught and curious by nature, I developed my journalistic skills in the field by joining the Vaping Post in 2017. As a former smoker who converted to vaping, I immediately felt the need to understand in detail all aspects of this smoking risk reduction method that has enabled me to successfully quit smoking where previous methods had failed.
review-wenax-q-mini-geekvapeThe Wenax Q Mini is a good pod. Ultra-easy to use with only the airflow to adjust. Its battery life is consistent with the cartridges supplied. The flavours delivered are excellent both for a tight draw or for greater vapour production.
