Long-Lasting Pod
The Wenax M1 Mini pod has a USB-C port to recharge its built-in 400 mAh battery. It’s possible to vape while charging. The main advantage of the kit is the additional battery that hosts the pod. However, for more compact use or in case of a forgotten external battery, the ability to charge the pod separately is a plus.
A magnetic connection on the external battery body facilitates the connection between the pod and the external battery. The electrical connection happens in seconds to recharge the pod. The magnets are strong, holding the pod and battery together perfectly.
The pod fits seamlessly into the external battery, becoming one with it. The finish level is excellent. Our model mimics wood grain with remarkable realism. Beyond the visual aspect, the wood texture is also imitated, with the feel of the grain under your fingers.
On the top of the external battery (power bank), there is a large button. It doesn’t function directly with the Wenax M1 Mini pod, as the pod charges automatically when placed on the power bank. However, the external battery can charge other devices like earbuds, mobile phones, and other Geekvape pods. To activate the external battery function, use the supplied cable and press the button on the external battery once. The button lights up, and the power bank charges the connected device.
In our tests, we connected two different brand mobile phones and activated the charge, but the phones did not charge. With a Geekvape Soul pod, the charge started immediately upon pressing the button. While not essential, this function proves handy in situations where no power outlet is nearby.
Like the Wenax M1 Mini, the power bank has its own USB-C port to recharge its 2500 mAh built-in battery. This significant battery life rivals the 18650 market batteries. Combined, the power bank and Wenax M1 Mini offer 2900 mAh (2500 + 400 mAh) for all-day vaping without worrying about the remaining charge level.
The kit includes two Wenax M1 cartridges. One with a value of 0.8 ohms and the other 1.2 ohms. The first allows for very restricted direct lung vaping, while the second is exclusively for tight mouth-to-lung inhalation. There’s no airflow or power adjustment; the Wenax M1 Mini handles the draw and adapts its power to the connected cartridge. This makes it ideal for beginners or more experienced vapers seeking simplicity.
The cartridge fits at the top of the pod battery, with a vibration and light blink confirming the connection between the tank and battery.
The capacity is 2 ml, consistent with the device format. Typically, you lift the silicone flap to insert the e-liquid bottle tip. Only thin tips should be used to avoid spills.
Filters are also included in the box. There are 10 of them, replacing the mouthpiece of the 0.8 ohm cartridge only, to mimic the feel of a cigarette filter on the lips. The number of filters is quite generous for a beginner’s kit.
No unpleasant surprises with this pod, which works perfectly and offers excellent flavor rendering! Without any settings, it’s accessible to all new vapers.
