An Easy-to-Read Pod
On one side of the Xros 4 Nano, the USB-C port charges the 1350 mAh built-in battery. The battery life is decent for a device of this size, and part of this performance can be attributed to the cartridges, which we’ll explore further.
You can vape while charging, and a clear, visible percentage indicator shows how much time remains until full charge. It takes around 20 minutes to charge up to 80%.
Next to the USB-C port, a small round button triggers vapor production. You can activate the pod by pressing this button or by inhaling. For everyday use, the latter is more convenient. Pressing the button can sometimes block the airflow, which cools the coil, so the inhale activation option is often preferable.
On the opposite side, a slider adjusts the airflow to cool the cartridge’s coil. A wider opening allows more air in, suitable for direct lung hits. In contrast, a narrower gap provides a tighter draw. The slider moves easily and stays securely in place during transport.
The cartridge sits atop the pod, raised enough for easy monitoring of the remaining liquid. A metal loop allows you to attach the included lanyard. The overall design is sleek, with rounded edges that make it comfortable to hold.
The color screen is a standout feature of the Xros 4 Nano. Its circular design is large and displays all key information, such as battery level, puff count, and the selected vape mode.
A decorative design fills a significant portion of the screen, which can be animated during inhalation if enabled. Several patterns are available. The different vaping modes offer similar sensations in terms of vapor production.
The kit includes two cartridges, both using Corex coils with 0.8-ohm and 0.4-ohm resistances. Each holds 3 ml of e-liquid, and the tank is refilled by removing the mouthpiece, which reveals a fill port.
While the 0.8-ohm coil pairs well with the device, we’re less enthusiastic about the 0.4-ohm option. Though its flavor production is excellent and the vapor matches its resistance, it demands significant power—ideally 25 W. This drains the 1350 mAh battery too quickly, limiting the device’s overall efficiency.
The Xros 4 Nano is compatible with all Xros cartridges, which offer resistances from 0.4 to 1.2 ohms.
