A Pod for Dynamic Vaping

The Coolfire PZPulse is a compact pod designed for dynamic vaping with its 0.2-ohm coil. However, it can offer a more moderate experience with a higher-resistance coil for a less intense vapor production. Thanks to its 2400 mAh battery, you can enjoy extended vaping sessions before needing to recharge.

A Pod with Refined Flavors

At the base of the PZPulse pod, a USB-C connector ensures quick charging for the integrated 2400 mAh battery. This capacity supports extended vaping sessions at moderate power levels. Above the connector, two buttons adjust the power output.

On the side, a slider lock instantly secures the device, which is convenient during transport and avoids repeated button presses.

The firing button, positioned at the top, is the sole mechanism for vapor production. The PZPulse boasts excellent build quality, with no sharp or poorly aligned plastic parts.

Its bright, colored screen ensures easy readability of key information even in bright conditions, displaying power, coil resistance, voltage, and battery level. The pod supports power output up to 80 W, although this level can drain the battery quickly. It’s recommended to use less power unless a charging source is available.

The cartridge offers a generous 5.5 ml capacity. Filling is straightforward: lift a silicone flap and insert your e-liquid bottle nozzle. Above the cartridge, an airflow adjustment ring lets you control the air intake that cools the coil inside the tank. Although the 0.6-ohm coil allows for indirect vaping, airflow must be significantly restricted for this mode.

The PZPulse is better suited for restricted direct-to-lung vaping. A secondary drip tip included in the box reduces vapor volume for a less intense experience.

Two coils come with the PZPulse:

  • PZP Max 0.6 ohm: For 18–23 W, offering a more restricted draw with less vapor.
  • PZP Max 0.2 ohm: For 60–80 W, providing an airy, high-output vape.

Additionally, the PZPulse is compatible with the PZP Max 0.4-ohm coil, which operates between 30 and 60 W for a more moderate direct vape.

The flavor production is outstanding, delivering sharp, detailed, and refined notes, whether using dessert or fruit e-liquids. The PZPulse is an excellent pod for flavor enthusiasts but requires a few tweaks to achieve top-tier status, such as a larger battery and a more appropriate maximum power output. A SMART mode for automatic power adjustments would also enhance usability.

Summary

Pros:

  • High-quality build
  • Excellent coil performance
  • Versatility
  • Ease of use

Cons:

  • Lacks SMART mode
  • Battery capacity could be improved

review-coolfire-pzpulse-innokinThe Coolfire PZPulse is an exceptional pod, delivering superb flavor with both dessert and fruit e-liquids. While it falls short of perfection due to limited battery capacity and the absence of a SMART mode, it remains a top choice for its format.
