A high-quality pod
Beneath the Wenax S3 Evo is a multi-functional button. It allows you to turn the device on and off. Additionally, with three quick presses, you can select the power level (low, medium, or high). The level is indicated by a distinct color, thanks to an LED ring surrounding the pod just above the button.
Vapor can be produced either by inhaling or pressing the fire button, depending on personal preference.
After five clicks, the button locks, but the device can still be used by inhaling. Another five clicks will turn off the pod.
There’s no noticeable delay in vapor production when inhaling, with immediate vapor flow from the first puff.
A USB-C connection enables quick charging of the 1100 mAh built-in battery. While the battery isn’t the largest, the pod’s slim 19mm diameter and 9.5cm height make it very portable. The included cartridge, with a 0.8-ohm coil, is also energy-efficient.
An adjustable airflow slider lets you choose between a very restricted direct-to-lung draw when fully open, and a tight mouth-to-lung draw when fewer holes are exposed. It’s precise and reliable.
The cartridge contains a 0.8-ohm sealed coil, ideal for use between 14 and 18 watts, and has a 2ml e-liquid capacity. This is consistent with the pod’s slim design—19mm diameter and 35mm height, excluding the mouthpiece. When the coil wears out, the entire cartridge needs to be replaced.
Filling is straightforward: lift the silicone plug and insert the bottle tip into the filling hole. Despite the cartridge being deeply seated in the pod, the e-liquid level is always clearly visible without needing to remove it.
As expected with Geekvape, the performance is excellent. The vape quality is precise and detailed, and the coils are long-lasting, requiring many puffs before needing to replace the cartridge.
