The Touch Design
On the side of the Pixo, a slider adjusts the airflow. Three small windows allow modulation of the air volume that cools the coil. The fewer openings, the tighter the draw; conversely, the more windows visible, the greater the airflow. This design is particularly suited to the Pixo since it comes with two cartridges for different vaping styles. The slider is firm enough to ensure perfect hold, eliminating any risk of accidental adjustments during transport.
Underneath the Pixo, a USB-C port allows for rapid charging of the integrated 1100 mAh battery. The battery life is consistent with the slim profile of the pod, which is just over 16 mm thick. Additionally, it is possible to vape while charging.
The Pixo boasts excellent finish quality. Its curves and assembly are well thought out for a comfortable grip. The design is refined, forgoing large logos and flashy effects, opting instead for a discreet “Pixo” inscription. The pod elegantly combines transparency effects with glossy and satin touches.
The main highlight of the Pixo is its screen. With numerous colors, excellent definition, and a fully touch-sensitive interface, it stands out for its visual quality.
Access to the menu is achieved through a few quick presses. The Pixo offers both a Smart and Watts mode. The Smart mode detects the coil resistance and suggests an appropriate power level. During our tests, this feature demonstrated remarkable accuracy. Users can also choose different display screens or animations while vaping. Every detail is carefully designed.
The pod also provides two vapor production modes: by pressing the button or by inhalation, depending on individual preferences.
Two cartridges come with the Pixo. Since the coil is sealed within, the entire cartridge must be replaced once flavors begin to degrade. The first cartridge has a value of 0.4 ohms, suitable for 23 to 30 W usage, while the second cartridge is 1 ohm and works best between 10 to 15 W.
Filling the tank is done by lifting the orange silicone plug. The Pixo cartridge, with its 3 ml capacity, accommodates most e-liquid bottle tips. The transparent tank allows for easy monitoring of e-liquid levels.
As for flavors, Aspire’s talent shines once more, delivering excellent and nuanced aroma reproduction. With its 0.4-ohm cartridge, the Pixo also allows for a restricted direct inhalation vape… making it a versatile kit for two types of draws. However, when vaping over 23 W, recharging will be necessary to last through a full day of use.
